CRA requires a SIN number to be attached to each tax return in order to correctly identify the individual. Your SIN will be used solely for this purpose.
*Please note: first time filers are now eligible to electronically file. Refund/amount owing will be processed ~2 weeks for electronic returns and ~8 weeks for mail-in returns.

Part E - Student Status

T2202 forms are issued to students who have paid $100.00 or more in eligible fees for post-secondary level courses beginning and ending in the year.

Part G - Terms and Conditions

Leong and Murphy Tax Management, referred to as “LM Tax”, will prepare your personal income tax return(s) (including family members where requested) for any requested tax year(s) and electronically file your return(s) where applicable. In order to prepare your income tax return(s) accurately and eliminate or reduce human errors, LM Tax relies on and uses a Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) approved tax preparation software with tax benefit optimization features. Your tax return(s) will be prepared based on the information provided by you and in accordance with the existing CRA guidelines. LM Tax and its employees will not audit, examine, review or otherwise verify the data you submit to us. LM Tax may however, ask for clarification of some of the information provided. You will provide LM Tax with correct information required to prepare complete and accurate returns and disclose accurate tax circumstances such as but not limited to; your marital status, tax filing status, foreign properties, assets you own, etc. You should retain all the documents and data that form the basis of your income and deductions. These may be necessary to prove the accuracy and completeness of the return to the CRA. The responsibility for the accuracy of the information and completeness of the representations reflected in your income tax return(s) remains with you. You should review your income tax return(s) carefully and verify the basic data such as the spelling of your name, your current legal address, your marital status, your date of birth and your social insurance number before you have it signed. PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT PAYMENT OF IS EXPECTED AT THE TIME OF SERVICE. LM Tax will proceed with electronically filing your return only after payment is received. Failure to provide payment after your return has been completed in the CRA approved preparation software by any employees of LM Tax will result in a $10 consideration fee. If you would like to retract your return and associated documents, please give notice prior to the completion of the return.
